Systemic Family & Business constellations
Bringing clarity and meaningful change to complex personal, intergenerational and organisational systemsWe work with the underlying hidden dynamics that shape relationships, behavioural dynamics, and decision-making — so you can see what’s happening beneath the surface and move forward with clarity.
Sometimes We Feel Stuck – Even When We’ve Tried Everything
Looking underneath the surface. Moving beyond the story.
People are often drawn to this work when something feels stuck, repetitive, unresolved or difficult to fully understand.
Sometimes there is a sense that the problem as we understand it may be connected to wider relational, organisational or intergenerational dynamics that are not yet fully seen. Whether in personal life, leadership, creative work or organisational settings, the process helps bring greater visibility to patterns, tensions and relationships within the system — creating space for movement, clarity and new possibilities.
What are Systemic Constellations?
Systemic constellations is a facilitated approach that helps make visible the relational and organisational dynamics influencing how we think, relate and make decisions. It can support individuals, families and organisations when patterns repeat, clarity is missing, or conventional approaches have not created lasting change
Originating in Germany and now practised internationally, this work combines systemic thinking, spatial representation and experiential exploration to reveal relational and organisational dynamics that are often not visible through conversation or analysis alone.
You may be experiencing:
- Recurring relationship patterns
- Family Tensions that never fully resolve
- Difficulty making important decisions
- Leadership or team dynamics that feel blocked
- A sense of carrying responsibilities that are not fully yours
- repeated business challenges despite strategic effort
- Uncertainty during major life or career transitions
- A feeling that something deeper is at play
One systemic approach, applied across different contexts:
While the context may differ, the underlying principles remain the same: understanding how parts of a system relate to one another, and how shifts in perspective can open new possibilities.
Personal & Family Constellations
For individuals seeking clarity around relationships, life transitions, or recurring patterns.
Sometimes we feel blocked, conflicted or weighed down by something that is difficult to identify, or find ourselves repeating patterns that no longer serve us.
This approach can help bring a wider, deeper perspective to situations that feel emotionally complex, unresolved or difficult to shift. We can move beyond the immediate narrative.
Common themes :
- Major decisions and crossroads
- Relationship dynamics that feel stuck
- Patterns that repeat across time or generations
- Internal conflicts and emotional blocks
- Challenging family dynamics
- Questions of belonging, identity or direction
Business/Organisational Constellations
For leaders, founders, teams and organisations navigating complexity, growth, change and strategic decision making.
Relevant from sole traders through to larger organisations, this approach complements traditional consulting and strategy.
The method brings new perspective and solution scenarios by bringing visibility to the relational and structural dynamics influencing outcomes.
Common themes:
- Leadership and team dynamics
- Organisational change or restructuring
- Strategic and complex decision-making
- Go-to-market and growth challenges
- Alignment of vision, strategy and operations
- Revenue, communication or performance issues
How the process works
While every session is different, the process typically involves clarifying the question or situation, mapping elements of the system in space, and observing what becomes perceptible through the process.
In group settings, people may represent aspects of a system. In private sessions, objects or spatial markers may be used instead. These representations are not role-play or performance, but a way of giving presence and insights about the dynamics of a situation so they can be explored more directly. The work is grounded in phenomenological observation, meaning attention is given to what becomes noticeable in the moment — including shifts in position, perception, interaction and felt sense — rather than relying solely on analysis or predefined interpretation.
- Clarifying the issue and intention e.g. a recurring relationship pattern, a leadership decision, or a family dynamic that feels stuck or unclear
- Mapping the system in space (using people in group settings or objects in individual sessions)
e.g. people or objects are positioned to represent key elements such as family members, team roles or influences - Observing what emerges without interpretation or assumption
e.g. noticing shifts in attention, movement, distance or relational dynamics - Exploring shifts in perspective that can open new possibilities
e.g. seeing how changes in position or awareness affect understanding of the situation - Exploring shifts in perspective that can open new possibilities
e.g. seeing how changes in position or awareness affect understanding of the situation - Finding more balanced or supported relational places within the system
e.g. where roles, responsibilities or connections can be seen more clearly or respectfully
Why This Work Can Be Difficult to Explain
Systemic constellations can sometimes appear unfamiliar because the process does not operate only through linear analysis, story telling or conventional problem-solving. People may experience insights, perceptions or connections that feel intuitive and can seem difficult to explain rationally.
Applied to personal or family issues it can be a therapeutic process, in a professional or business context it can be described as systemic coaching, consulting or organisational development.
Some describe the experience as a heightened awareness or intuition, being fully present, a felt sense of knowing, embodied or even channeling. Others experience it simply as a powerful way of seeing systems more clearly.
In my approach, the work does not impose a particular interpretation, believe system, spiritual framework or ideology. Instead, it works with what becomes perceptible in the moment within a structured and grounded process.
Different people will naturally understand and experience the work in different ways. It tends to resonate with those who are open, curious and willing to engage with both rational understanding and deeper forms of perception.
